I read about the bowl overflow one with people routing it up and around the carb and back down so that the gas wont be wasted. ![]() I will need to cut the ones going down at an angle. Gotcha! Thanks for chiming in, always good info. Just gotta keep moving in the deep stuff.:grin2: I still use stock hose routing and regularly ride 12 to 20 inches of water with no issues. I used the stock vents as I described earlier in post and rode many hundreds of off road swampy/wet miles without any issues. PC1 made a slick waterproofing kit for carburetor vent hoses at one point. eBay has a bunch of Chinese vent hose kits if you like. PC1 makes a slick carb vent hose kit in multiple designer colors for the fashion conscious rider. ![]() ![]() The single small tube on bowl is the most critical location as it has to vent down or it can cause trouble if float sticks or drips, the leaking fuel can leak into motor and airbox:surprise: hose ends are usually slash cut to prevent dirt and mud build up plugging hoses at open end. The 2 forward (vertical)hoses can be teed together as shown as long as the tee is vented to atomisphere (open) the rear 2 bowl (horizontal)vents go down behind motor.
